Kuaishou & Kwai Video Downloader Without Watermark

Paste a share link from Kuaishou or Kwai and save the public video as an MP4 file. It runs in the browser you already use on Android, iPhone, Windows or Mac, with no app, extension or account.

Paste one video link and tap Find video. You will see the cover and caption with download buttons. Nothing downloads until you tap one.

Paste a Kuaishou or Kwai link

You can paste the full text the app copies, including emoji or Chinese characters. The tool finds the link inside it.

  • No account needed
  • Works in any browser
  • Public videos only
  • History stays on your device

How to download a Kuaishou or Kwai video

  1. Copy the video link

In the Kuaishou or Kwai app, open the video, tap Share, then Copy link. On a computer, open the video page and copy the address from the address bar.

  2. Paste it and tap Find video

Paste the link, or the whole share message the app copied, into the box above. The tool finds the link inside the text, even with emoji or Chinese characters around it.

  3. Check the result

You will see the cover, the caption and the creator name. If an error appears instead, it says what went wrong. The fixes are further down this page.

  4. Tap a download button

Download MP4 saves the video. Some posts also offer a smaller MP4, the cover image or the soundtrack. Your browser saves the file to its usual download location.

Video quality, watermarks and audio

MP4 at the quality the post offers

Every video saves as an MP4 file at the resolution the platform stores for that post. The Kuaishou posts we checked were 720p (720 x 1280). Some Kwai videos came out smaller, at 576 x 1024. The tool never upscales, so you will not see 1080p or 4K buttons for a 720p video.

Some Kuaishou posts also have a smaller MP4 at the same resolution. It uses H.265 (HEVC) compression, which plays on iPhones, Macs and most recent Android phones. Some Windows PCs need extra software for it, so choose Download MP4 if you are unsure. That file uses H.264, which plays everywhere.

Watermarks

Saving a video with the app's own button usually stamps the Kuaishou or Kwai logo and the creator's ID on it. This tool saves the file that the public video page plays instead, and the files we checked had no platform logo.

Captions, stickers or logos that the creator edited into the video stay. They are part of the picture, and the tool does not alter videos.

Cover image and soundtrack

Download cover image saves the post's thumbnail as a JPG or WebP picture.

When a Kuaishou post lists its soundtrack, Download audio saves it as an M4A file (AAC audio), which music apps on phones and computers can play. It is not an MP3. Kwai pages do not offer a separate audio file, so Kwai results show the video and cover only.

Kuaishou and Kwai: one company, separate apps

Kuaishou is a short-video app from Kuaishou Technology, used mainly in mainland China. Outside China the company runs Kwai, a separate international app. On Apple's App Store, Kwai is published by JOYO TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. In Pakistan, India and Indonesia, the company's app has also gone by the name Snack Video (Wikipedia).

The arrangement is similar to Douyin and TikTok, which ByteDance runs as separate apps for China and the rest of the world. Kuaishou and Kwai have separate accounts and videos, and their share links use different addresses: v.kuaishou.com for Kuaishou and k.kwai.com for Kwai. You do not need to know which one you have. Paste the link and the tool works it out.

Where to find the saved video

Your browser saves the file to its download location. On phones, that is not always the same place as your photo gallery.

Android

Chrome saves to the Download folder. Open your Files app and tap Downloads to find it. Many gallery apps also show the Download folder. If yours does not, move the video to the Movies or DCIM folder.

Android guide

iPhone and iPad

Safari asks you to confirm the download, then saves it in the Files app under Downloads, not in Photos. To move it, open the video, tap Share, then Save Video.

iPhone guide

Windows and Mac

Files go to your Downloads folder. To see recent downloads, press Ctrl+J in Chrome or Edge on Windows, or Option+Command+L in Safari or Chrome on a Mac.

If a link or download fails

"That does not look like a Kuaishou or Kwai link"
The pasted text has no Kuaishou or Kwai address in it. Go back to the video itself, tap Share, then Copy link, and paste again.
"This link type is not supported"
The link opens a profile, a live stream, a slideshow or another page that is not a single video. Open the video and copy its own link.
"The video could not be found"
The post may be deleted, private, followers-only or still under review. Open the link in a private browser window without logging in. If you cannot watch it there, the tool cannot fetch it either.
"Too many requests right now"
The tool allows about 10 lookups a minute from one connection, and Kuaishou sometimes asks for a security check. Wait a minute and try again.
A download button stopped working
Download buttons expire one hour after the lookup. Paste the video link again to get fresh buttons.
The video is smaller than you expected
You get the resolution the platform stores for that post, often 720p. No downloader can add detail that the original file does not have.
The smaller MP4 will not play on Windows
That file uses H.265. Play it in VLC, install Microsoft's HEVC Video Extensions, or download the regular MP4 instead.
The download stops partway
This is usually an unstable connection. Tap the download button again on a steadier network. Large files can take a while on mobile data.

Still stuck? The troubleshooting guide goes through each error in more detail.

What happens to the link you paste

  • Your link goes to our download service, which runs on Cloudflare. It reads the public video page the way a logged-out visitor would. It never logs in or uses an account.
  • Video files pass through the service on their way to your browser. We do not store copies, and request logging for the service is turned off. Cloudflare still handles basic connection data, such as your IP address, to deliver the request.
  • Vercel hosts this website and keeps standard technical logs.
  • Your recent lookups are saved only in your browser. Tap Clear under the tool to remove them.

Use downloads responsibly

Saving a video does not give you permission to reuse it. Short videos are protected by copyright like any other creative work, under laws such as Pakistan's Copyright Ordinance, 1962 and India's Copyright Act, 1957. Watching a clip offline is a very different matter from uploading it to YouTube, TikTok or Instagram as your own.

Save your own videos freely. Before sharing anyone else's, ask the creator and credit them. If a video carries a Creative Commons licence, follow its terms. Rights holders can contact us through our copyright policy. This is general information, not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download a Kuaishou video without a watermark?

Paste the video link into the box at the top and tap Download MP4. The tool saves the file that the public video page plays, which in our checks had no Kuaishou or Kwai logo. Text or stickers that the creator edited into the video stay, because they are part of the picture.

Is this Kuaishou video downloader free?

Yes. There is no paid plan and no sign-up. The only limit is a short pause if one connection looks up more than about 10 videos in a minute.

How do I download Kwai videos on iPhone?

Copy the link in the Kwai app, paste it here in Safari and tap Download MP4. Safari puts the file in the Files app under Downloads. To move it to Photos, open it, tap Share, then Save Video.

Can I download Kuaishou videos on Android without an app?

Yes. Use this page in Chrome or any other Android browser, and the video saves to your Download folder. You do not need to install a downloader APK. Apps from unknown websites can ask for permissions they do not need, so avoid them.

Can I download private Kuaishou videos?

No. The tool only reads what anyone can watch without logging in. If a video is private or limited to followers, the tool says so and stops.

Can I save a Kuaishou video with its music?

The MP4 always includes the sound. When a Kuaishou post lists its soundtrack, a Download audio button also saves the audio on its own as an M4A file. Kwai pages do not offer a separate audio file.

Does Kuaishou have its own download option?

Many videos have a save option in the app's share menu. Copies saved that way usually carry a watermark, and creators can turn saving off for their videos.

Can I download Kuaishou live streams or replays?

No. Live streams and replays are not supported. The tool works with regular video posts.

Why does a post not give me a video file?

Some posts are photo slideshows rather than videos. The tool does not save slideshows yet, so it shows a "not supported" message for them.

Can I use it on a Mac or Windows PC?

Yes. Open the video on kuaishou.com or kwai.com, copy the address from the address bar and paste it here. It works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.

Do I need to log in to Kuaishou or Kwai?

No. This site never asks for your Kuaishou or Kwai password, and you should not give it to any downloader.

Is it legal to download videos from Kuaishou?

It depends on where you live and what you do with the video. Saving your own videos is fine. For anyone else's, read our copyright guide and ask the creator before reusing anything.
